1,100 children, to providing more than 116,000 meals through community kitchens, and empowering youth and women in peacebuilding initiatives, FFC strengthens trust, participation, and resilience. Our mobile clinics, shelter support, and legal awareness programs ensure access to essential services, promote dignity, and foster accountability.

COMPLETED PROJECTS

A selection of completed projects that highlight work on the ground

EDUCATION:

FFC delivered continuous, community-led non-formal education for refugee children in Arsal, creating safe and inclusive learning spaces for over 1,100 students.

The programs provided core academic classes, remedial and creative subjects, psychosocial support, and parental engagement, while also transitioning from fixed schools to mobile education tents. Through the training and support of more than 30 volunteer teachers, the initiatives strengthened local capacity, ensured access to learning despite displacement challenges, and fostered resilience among children and their families.

COMMUNITY KITCHEN PROJECT:

Providing Nourishment, Dignity, and Solidarity
to Vulnerable Communities FFC implemented community-led kitchens to support vulnerable refugees, displaced persons, and low-income host families, delivering over 116,000 hot meals across multiple initiatives.
These programs provided safe and dignified access to food, fostered social cohesion, and promoted inclusion by engaging local volunteers in meal preparation and distribution, while strengthening community ownership and solidarity.

SOCIAL COHESION:

FFC’s social cohesion approach focuses on fostering trust,
collaboration, and community ownership among vulnerable populations. Through dialogue sessions, participatory workshops, and community-led initiatives, the project rebuilt social cohesion and strengthened trust among Syrian refugee communities in Central Bekaa.

Youth and women were empowered to take leadership roles in peacebuilding and collaborative projects, enabling them to address local challenges, strengthen social ties, and promote sustainable community-led solutions that enhance resilience and collective well-being.

RELIEF | EMERGENCY RESPONSE:

Frontliners For Change’s approach emphasizes holistic,
community-centered interventions that integrate protection,
health, WASH, relief, and psychosocial support for displaced populations. Through the shelter project, FFC provided emergency shelters, mobile facilities, and essential services for 500 Syrian families in Bar Elias, focusing on women, children, and the elderly.

By combining shelter with on-site health care, psychosocial support, and recreational activities, the project improved living conditions, promoted dignity and safety, and strengthened community resilience, reflecting FFC’s commitment to coordinated and sustainable humanitarian support.

DEFAMATION & DISINFORMATION:

FFC believes that true safety and resilience require protection from both physical and social harm, including defamation, rumors, and disinformation that can undermine trust and dignity within communities.

Guided by this principle, the Fighting Against Disinformation and Defamation project combined awareness sessions, community dialogue, and legal consultations to empower Syrian refugees; particularly women, youth, and families; to protect their rights, challenge harmful narratives, and strengthen social cohesion.

HEALTH & PSYCHOSOCIAL SUPPORT:

FFC’s strategic approach emphasizes context-specific, integrated humanitarian interventions that combine healthcare, psychosocial support, and community engagement to meet the complex needs of displaced populations.

Through the Rapid Health Response and Mobile Health and PSS projects, FFC delivered primary healthcare, maternal and child services, malnutrition screening, hygiene promotion, and psychosocial support to displaced Syrian refugees and vulnerable Lebanese communities across Bekaa shelters.

By prioritizing gender-sensitive access, culturally appropriate care,
and ongoing community coordination, these initiatives ensured continuity of essential services, strengthened trust, and enhanced resilience in a rapidly changing humanitarian context.

BUILDING CONSTITUTIONAL AND LEGAL AWARENESS

FFC’s governance approach focuses on empowering civil society, promoting legal literacy, and fostering participatory, accountable governance in post-conflict contexts.
Through our projects, we strengthened understanding of constitutional principles, governance systems, and justice frameworks among activists, lawyers, youth, and community leaders.
By delivering interactive workshops and establishing governance units that facilitated collaboration between local authorities, social activists, and community representatives, these initiatives enhanced civic engagement, fostered dialogue, and built foundations for sustainable democratic reform and accountability.
