OUR PROGRAMS

At Frontliners for Change, our mission is to uplift Syrian refugees and vulnerable groups through a holistic approach. We believe in the power of education, support, and community engagement to create lasting change.

Our journey begins with empowering individuals through a series of dynamic workshops. These sessions are designed to enhance crucial skills such as leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and crisis management. By fostering these capacities, we encourage positive engagement with communities and local authorities. Our comprehensive courses and seminars delve into humanitarian, international, and political issues, equipping youth with essential knowledge and promoting constructive dialogue.

Understanding the profound impact of trauma and displacement, our Protection Department is dedicated to offering robust mental health support. We conduct psychosocial support (PSS) sessions tailored for children, adolescents, and families in educational centers and camps. These sessions provide a safe space for individuals to express themselves and heal. Our referral services ensure that each person receives personalized assistance, addressing their unique needs.

In response to the economic challenges faced by many, we actively work to alleviate food insecurity. Our initiatives include the distribution of food baskets and the operation of the “SeKbeh” Ramadan kitchen, which provides nutritious meals to families in Syria, Turkey, and Lebanon. These efforts ensure that vulnerable communities have access to essential nourishment.

We recognize the critical role of education in transforming lives. Our non-formal “alternative” education program is designed to help refugee children transition smoothly into formal education systems. Beyond that, we offer creative and recreational activities that support their overall development, helping them thrive in challenging circumstances.
At Frontliners for Change, our commitment goes beyond immediate relief. We strive to build resilient communities and empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives. Through our comprehensive programs, we aim to be a beacon of hope and a catalyst for change in the lives of Syrian refugees and vulnerable groups. Join us in making a difference, one step at a time.

JOIN US IN EMPOWERING SYRIAN REFUGEES AND BUILDING

A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR THEIR COMMUNITIES

PROTECTION:

In the face of significant violations endured by Syrian refugees, which often leave lasting impacts on their mental well-being, our Protection Program remains steadfast in its commitment to delivering essential mental health services and support. Our primary aim is to foster coping mechanisms, resilience, and overall well-being among those affected and traumatized by the conflict. We are dedicated to ensuring that Syrian refugees receive the necessary care and assistance to rebuild their lives. Moreover, we extend our services impartially, providing protection to all individuals in need, irrespective of nationality.

Relief

In the face of challenging economic conditions in Syria and Lebanon, marked by soaring inflation rates and widespread unemployment, the struggle for basic necessities has intensified across affected communities. Vulnerable families and refugees are facing heightened difficulties in accessing food and essential resources, compounded by currency devaluation and shortages of essential goods. These hardships have left many grappling to secure adequate sustenance, particularly impacting the impoverished and Syrian refugees who endure harsh living conditions.

Capacity- Development and Knowledge Transfer Program:

At Frontliners for Change, our “Capacity-Development and Knowledge Transfer” Program is designed to significantly enhance the leadership and administrative capacities of young people, adolescents, and key community figures. By fostering positive engagement between these groups and local authorities, we aim to build stronger, more resilient communities.

Educational:

The Syrian crisis has significantly impacted Lebanon, which has welcomed over 1.5 million Syrian refugees, predominantly children and women. Many Syrian refugee families face difficult choices, such as sending their children to work or halting their education entirely. Adolescent girls, in particular, are vulnerable to risks such as sexual and gender-based violence and child marriage when they are out of school.
